This place is awesome! Best haircut I have had in years, if not the best ever ever! Nikki is rad and does a fantastic job and always remembers who I am even if it's been too long between cuts. I won't get my hair cut anywhere else anymore.

Fantastic atmosphere and great barbers. Nikki is my go to every time. Make sure you book an appointment online! Typically there no walk ins but you could swing by to see if any barbers have an openings you might get lucky.

The staff were polite and friendly, and they even made sure I had my bike locked so it wouldn't get stolen. You can be as quiet or social as you want, and they'll reciprocate accordingly. My haircut was clean and well-done, but make sure you know what you want beforehand. The free WiFi is a plus. That being said, the Achilles Heel is the long wait time, due to the many customers and lack of appointments. It took over an hour between stepping foot in the door and getting on the barber chair. But I don't visit any barbershops very often so I can't speak for others. All in all, however, a neat little barbershop with a comfortable atmosphere, friendly banter, and chill people.

I have been going to Dave's for about a year, and I can't say enough good things. Great haircuts for me and my toddler son, it's clean and the barbers are super friendly. Never had a bad haircut from here. They don't do appointments, but you can call ahead to check the wait. The place is so friendly, I usually just show up and wait it out. There are almost always enough barbers working that even if there is a big line, it goes pretty quick.

I have lived in Elk Grove for six months at the time of this post and after trying several other barbers in the area Dave's is the best I've had. There's no appointments which does suck so you'll have to get there early. All the barbers take there time and they give constant feedback throughout the cut. I get a medium fade, skin with a trim on top and it rubs $24 dollars before the tip, but it is well worth the time and price.

Had good experiences with Rey, Justin, and Nikki. Rey was my best haircut of the bunch. Had 2 haircuts with Rossi that were really bad. Nice guy though. Overall, a solid 3-4 stars. Having appointments now will really help out the business I think.

I like Dave's Barber Shop and understand the high ratings that it gets, but I have to say that I have had better haircuts. That said, I will happily go back to Dave's especially to get the full hot towel shave experience. Always a great treat to give yourself. The music is always good, and the staff is friendly with just the right amount of talk.
